Marching into March
March is here, and the weather is starting to shift in Calderdale and Kirklees. While it’s still a bit chilly, the dry conditions are perfect for hitting the trails. The crisp air and sun breaking through the clouds make for ideal mountain biking conditions. Whether I’m riding my singlespeed or Van Nicolas Zion, the trails are a dream. The mix of rolling hills, tough climbs, and fast descents never gets old, especially as the season picks up speed.
There’s something special about riding through these areas, with the ever-changing terrain and quiet beauty of the landscapes. The contrast of the dry, gritty trails and the occasional cold gust of wind reminds me of why I love mountain biking so much. It’s all about the freedom of the ride, the challenge of the climb, and the thrill of the descent.
As the weather warms up, it’s the perfect time to get out on the bike, explore new routes, and make the most of the longer days. Here’s to more adventures on two wheels!
