First warm day in 6 months 7th March 2015

#mtb was on the menu for this warm day even though it was windy. I’m not complaining as it has been a long old winter from November so to have blue sky and mild air it really felt great. My mtb ride would take me up and around Stoodley Pike as the trails there are fabulous. The choice of bike today would be my much loved  Salsa El Mariachi which is now even better than it was with the new Rock Shock RS1 fork. 42 miles and over 5,000 feet of off-road climbing felt like a great day out and about enjoying the dry dusty trails. Lets hope we have a wonderful dry summer prefabably from April to October 🙂
